ARLINGTON, VA. - ITS Corporation, a provider of information technology and engineering solutions to the U.S. government, recognized Your Recruiting Company, Inc. (YRCI) as its East Coast Small Business Vendor of the Year for 2005.
YRCI, a veteran-owned small business specializing in recruiting and outsourcing solutions, provided ITS and its LEADS business unit in 2005 with recruiting and staffing services on all acquisition management related contracts. Additionally, YRCI teamed exclusively with ITS LEADS earlier this year on a contract award with GovWorks.
According to Tom Sundling, president and CEO of ITS, recognizing outstanding small businesses such as YRCI shows ITS is committed to bringing government and military the best services and solutions available. It also shows, says Sundling, that both ITS and YRCI understand the business of supporting the federal government.
"Our Small Business Program ensures that we align our competencies with companies that are dedicated to ensuring our government meets the needs of its constituents," said Sundling. "It is an approach that has been extremely successful for us, our partners and most importantly, our customers."
Since 2001, YRCI has provided acquisition staffing and recruiting services to government and commercial clients. The company staffs organizations with well-qualified personnel who fit both the position requirements and the client's organization.
Ed Rinkavage is the acquisition management vice president for ITS LEADS and has worked closely with YRCI on the GovWorks contract and previous contracts. He says YRCI gives ITS and its customers "unparalleled responsiveness" and that "no one in acquisition staffing and recruiting does it better."
Mr. Felipe Mendoza, GSA associate administrator for small business utilization, co-presented the award to YRCI. Mr. Mendoza is responsible for monitoring and implementing GSA's small business policies and managing its small business programs that strive to expand opportunities and technological capabilities through increased participation of small businesses (including those located in HUBZones, minority, veteran and women-owned) in federal government procurement.
