OXNARD, CA - ITS Corporation, a provider of information technology and engineering solutions to the U.S. government, announced today that it has won a PC/LAN contract for the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. ITS will provide LAN, help desk, Web and programming support to the hospital, as well as naval clinics in Atlanta, Ga., Key West, Fla., and other locations. The fixed-price contract, which was awarded off the GSA Millennia Lite Schedule, has a value of almost $8 million if all years are optioned.
“We look forward to working with the Navy to help their clinics with networking and Web needs,” said ITS spokesperson Doug Christianson, VP, Southern Region. “Our southern region managers played a key role in this contract win, and we believe that our outstanding client references helped as well.”
Christianson also says the services provided by ITS will help the Navy clinics to develop, maintain and enhance the IT support used by Navy medical staff so they can concentrate on serving local sailors and their families. ITS will provide 24 persons to help facilitate and execute the contract. ITS will staff the project with new hires and incumbents from two predecessor contractors.
ITS has provided similar work for military medical institutions in the states of Washington, Hawaii and Alabama.
